Like most people who have ever listened to Desert Island Discs I have collected and changed my selection many times over. A few constants have been Gerry Rafferty’s Baker Street, Pie Jesu from Faure’s Requiem and the aria Ebben? Ne andrò lontana from Catalini’s La Wally.
